Dr. Natalie Green grew up in Georgia and earned her BS at the University of Georgia and her DVM degree from Ross University. She has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2003 and has been working at a vet clinic since she was 15 years old.
With a husband in the military, she had the advantage of pursuing her passion for veterinary medicine in Georgia, Southern California, Alabama, Hawaii, and now Nevada. Her husband retired from active duty in 2019 and they chose the Reno/Tahoe area as their forever home.
While the cold weather is a shock to the system after living in Hawaii, Dr. Natalie, her husband, young daughter, an old boxer (Bryson), an old chocolate lab (Tahoe), and two spunky kitties-Lilikoi and Lanikai, are all adjusting well! Dr. Natalie has an active lifestyle with her family spending as much time outdoors as possible, paddle boarding, hiking, snowboarding, swimming, camping, and exploring their new town.
Dr. Natalie became 'fear free certified' in 2017 and likes to approach pets in a way that makes them feel more comfortable in an often scary veterinary environment. You will often find her handing out special treats to patients for distraction and to make them feel more at ease. Her other veterinary interests are in soft tissue surgery, behavior, and dermatology.
