Although Alison was born in Milwaukee,  Wisconsin, she has called Reno her home since 1990. She is a graduate from McQueen High School and earned her B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2001. When she is not at work, Alison spends her time playing ice hockey, downhill skiing, and reading. She and her family enjoy cooking various foods from around the world together and trying new restaurants.
